Joann is a wealth of knowledge, and she doesn't just prescribe medication. She is well trained in functional medicine and is happy to suggest alternatives. I highly recommend her.

Joanne is someone in my opinion that has to be right all the time. She broke my privacy and tried to blame me. She sent me a letter stating that I quit treatment with her because I told her she couldn't tell me who or what I could talk about during sessions. I'm doing so much better only a year with my present doctor, something she couldn't do in 5 years.

I was seeing JoAnn for close to seven years! She was great at first! We talked, got along well, and she was able to get me in to see her, even though she was booked out for months, because she knew my dad’s girlfriend!!! Everything changed about a year before I went to jail! I was regularly using marijuana to help with my depression and anxiety! I quickly became addicted and my depression and anxiety worsened. I told her repeatedly that my medications weren’t working and that my depression was getting worse; but she didn’t listen and insisted it would get better if I quit using the marijuana. My depression was so bad, that I started doing things I wouldn’t normally do, and wound up in jail for a month and a half. I would NEVER be seen by this provider. I was seen by her years ago and unfortunately my Mom had to be seen by her for mental health meds because there were no other providers in the area taking patients. She has zero patience, is non professional and has no sense of what the patient really needs because all she wants to do is prescribe medications. When my Mom tried telling her what her issues are, Joann will talk about her own personal problems instead, pointing out all the reasons why she needs meds to help. Today, we had a scheduled appointment at 11:30. Joann called late and then when my mom didn’t answer because she didn’t get to the phone in time, Joann immediately left a message stating that although she knew she was calling late for the appointment, my Mom would be considered a no

By far the worst example of a mental health professional as you can get. A frazzled mess. She has to leave the room just to get your blood pressure to come down! Mental Health practioners are supposed to exude a calm and supportive environment .. NOT here! Don’t go if you want calm, consistent, dependable care. She has no front office staff at all. So calls don’t get answered (even the urgent line) for weeks if at all. Care isn’t followed thru and medications past the due date even after called in. Then she calls the wrong meds to the wrong pharmacy! One time I had to drive to her office without any appointment just to ask for her service. We talked in person about what she promised to do and it never got done! I texted her this and that I was frustrated .. and she said “I quit”
