My mother spent the last two months of her life there and passed away peacefully on 9/5/21. During her stay the volunteer staff and employees sat with her when I couldn’t, they held her hand when I couldn’t, they screamed, laughed and cried with her when I couldn’t. I couldn’t imagine how much more my mother might have suffered without a place like this, how much me and my family might have. Not only are the staff there for your loved one who is terminally ill they are there for you. A shoulder to cry, answers to questions and a relief for the overwhelming feelings of grief, guilt, anxiety and a multitude of other feelings you will experience.
