Dr. Velez is wonderful. My mom has been seeing him for several years. He’s kind, caring and listens to his patients. My review is solely on his staff. They do not call patients back, nor do they follow through (send prescriptions or referrals). My mom called the office everyday for two weeks and no one would return her phone call. She has to physically get into the car and go down there to actually get an answer to her questions. Horrible office staff. Unfortunately she has complained several times to Dr. Valez about his staff and nothing has changed. She doesn’t want to leave Dr. Valez but her condition is worsening and needs a doctors office who follows through and calls patients back.

Nothing against Dr Velez, he was kind, helpful and attentive but his staff will not answer the phone or call back after leaving a message to schedule an appointment. I called twice a day for five days and never spoke to anyone or had my call returned.
