Jersey Shore Gastroenterology

Couldn’t have been easier. Went online to schedule colonoscopy, due to medical issues and reason for needing colonoscopy I required a visit. Called office and a tele-visit was quickly scheduled. Dr Jalaj called me on the scheduled date at the scheduled time, was very clear in discussing my health issues and concerns, was very kind and reassuring, promised a callback from his office within 2 days to schedule the procedure (it had a bit of urgency) - which they did. The office was very easy to deal with, gave clear directions, provided prep directions and texted me days before prep and procedure with reminders. The procedure was performed at Shore Medical Center, who called as promised with arrival time, etc and upon arrival everything went perfectly - Shore nursing staff gets an A+ as well

Relocated from Philly & was looking for new Drs. Dr Schwab was highly recommended by my new primary. Dr Schwab takes the time to listen to you & answers any questions/concerns you have. He doesn’t talk at you he talks with you. His entire staff is very professional/knowledgeable & friendly. Entire practice makes you feel extremely comfortable & confident. So glad my primary recommended him

Very pleased with this office. Staff is professional and very nice. Dr. Krachman was very nice. informative, and answer all my questions.

Dr.Jalaj has been my gastroenterologist for several years. He listens to my concerns intently and offers advice with gentle compassion. I think he is excellent.

The testing on the second floor is horrible. No one in the office but me and the patient an 80 year old extremely sick, make us wait an hour , the girl at the front desk was miserable, she should not work in customer service. My 80 year old father has severe anxiety, so you know what happened. For a 5 minute test. Then she says she was with the Dr . All that time. Please have more compassion and consideration when you are dealing with older patients. Then she had the nerves to get upset because my father lost it on her. Liver desease messes with your brain as it is. Be more conscious and have compassion. Somerspoint office .gets better, I guess they didn’t like the review, they never sent the test results to the Dr. so the date of the appointment, there was nothing.
