Review for Dr. Summers at UCF Health: I visited UCF Health today hoping to consult with Dr. Summers, as my primary doctor was unavailable. While I was inside the patient room with the door closed, I overheard Dr. Summers loudly and aggressively questioning my presence and discussing my medical concerns with her assistant outside the room. Her tone was extremely unprofessional, and the volume of her voice was loud enough that I could hear every word from behind the closed door. This was a clear breach of my privacy and made me feel very uncomfortable. I remained calm the entire time, but as she continued speaking loudly about why I was there violating my privacy and making it clear she did not want to see me I decided to remove myself from the room. Even after several months, I still feel deeply unsettled by my visit and feel that I was discriminated against. Less than a year ago, I moved to Orlando and was trying to get established with a PCP to address some ongoing back pain and digestive issues. During the appointment, as Doctor Summers lifted my shirt to listen to my lungs, she suddenly yelled loudly and harshly “You’ve got flea bites!” I was shocked and embarrassed. Jeri is stellar. She is plain spoken yet kind and compassionate. She is on my team. She doesn’t talk down to me. Willing to go the extra mile to help me, help myself. I tell her often she can never leave. And she better not. I would be lost without her. It isn’t often that you find a provider you mesh with.

Jeri and assistants Alexandria and Melissa are exceptional. So much so that I have changed to have Jeri be my primary care provider. She is caring, efficient, thorough, and listens to your concerns. She addresses them (with action or explaining non-action), rather than ignoring them as doctors have done with me for years. Her assistants are equally competent and pleasant to be around. I will recommend this provider and the Quadrangle office to everyone I know, starting with my husband.

My daughter and son had me come see Jeri. My daughter works in the same office with rheumatology and told me about how she takes care of her patients and how she wanted a pcp like that for me and my son Nick. After watching nicks improvements and her find all of these things that his other doctor missed I decided to see her. She is very nice and I was honestly shocked that she cares about all of the records they requested. She told me she goes through all of the records and told me about things I didnt even know other doctors diagnosed me with.
