Jeremiah Jones

This is the second time I have been to this doctor. This doctor is very dismissive and comes off as a cold and uncaring doctor. The first time I went alone and he said the pain I had been experiencing was not there again dismissing my pain. Then I go unfortunately again to talk to him about this same pain almost 2 years later. Gave no insights as to why this is happening. Dismissed me and the problems yet again and this time stared at my husband who I thought bringing with would help advocate but unfortunately even dismissed my husband in that quick and cold manner. If you get referred to him just go elsewhere. He won't take your pain seriously. Dr. Jones may be an acceptable physician in some regards (perhaps gallbladders, appendectomies) but he is certainly not the doctor to go to if you are diagnosed with breast cancer. He did not take the time to be thorough in his exam, neither verbally or physically. He had zero empathy; I have no problem with doctors who have a poor bedside manner as long as their skills, knowledge, and quality of care are great. I received his recommendation of treatment and not only was it extreme but it dramatically differed from my second opinion doctor who specializes in breast cancer. What I’ve learned from my experience with Dr. Jones is to always question recommendations, don’t take no for an answer, and always get a second opinion. Dr. Jones is man of few words, but kind and professional. He answered all of my questions and did a great job on my inguinal hernia surgery. All of the staff at Lutheran were so kind and worked well together.

I was pleased with him as a surgeon. He was very professional and I felt that I was in good hands for the procedure. He was not overly social, but he was thorough with explaining the procedure and open to answering any questions that I had.

Poor pain control. Refuses to control pain when treating an open wound that requires packing. Asked for one pain pill for preparation of my upcoming procedure, due to last time the wound was worked on, the pain was so intense I almost passed out.
