Dr. DeFazio was recommended to me by my MSK oncological surgeons Dr. Bello and Dr. Coriddi. Dr. DeFazio’s examination was thorough and thoughtful. She recognized pre-cancerous warning signs that a previous dermatologist (not affiliated with MSK) had overlooked. I am grateful to have Dr. DeFazio as my oncological dermatologist on a stellar team of MSK health care providers.
I saw Dr Defazio today and she was excellent. Very friendly. She explained everything thoroughly. I wasn’t rushed. She suggested skin products for my face.
Dr. DeFazio is a wonderful person and highly skilled doctor. I’ve been a patient of Dr. DeFazio for about 5 years. She is the most caring doctor I’ve ever met.. I’ve had over 50 operations for skin cancer in my life at a number of doctors but I am so happy I found her. The reason I was looking for a new doctor is because my previous one felt he couldn’t do the operation because I didn’t have enough skin left for sutures. I had never met Doctor DeFazio before but I found out that she called the lab & had the specimen sent to her lab. They inspected it & found the cancer was on the top not the bottom or sides so I didn’t need the operation…. Thank you all for the work that you do. Bill Schmidt
