Jeffrey F. Dietz, MD - New England Hand Associates

My experience with Dr. Dietz was quite the opposite of what others are writing here. Dr. Dietz spent at most 10 minutes with me during which time he simply told me he could do literally nothing to help me. He couldn't even give me information or advice. He told me to watch YouTube to learn about my problem and that it was my fault for coming to a surgeon for my problem. I was charged $480 for this. For the record, I stated my condition on the phone when I made the appointment and so they knew in advance. If Dr. Dietz couldn't help me in any way whatsoever, his office never should have made the appointment or they should have canceled once they learned what my condition was. I can't believe that other patients find him caring. It was awful.

I would just like to say Dr. Dietz had performed nerve surgery on my hand years ago and just wanted to drop by and express my gratitude to him and his office team. My insurance would not cover my visits or procedure and Dr. Dietz and his office really helped me out the best they could with my situation. At the time it was rough mental health wise and him and his office being pleasant to work with made a difference.

This was my first time to be seen at this practice and I was very pleased with the care I received. The staff was friendly and professional. The secretary was pleasant and efficient, the X-ray tech was friendly and professional. Dr. Dietz was very professional, pleasant and helpful. Although I am a retired nurse, he spoke to me in terms a layperson would understand. He showed me my X-rays and pointed out the areas of concern. He discussed possible treatment options. He fitted me with a hand brace which was comfortable and supportive. He told me about various ointments/ oils that might help. Also, he offered me the opportunity to return for a cortisone shot, if needed.

Dr. Dietz and his office are welcoming and professional. Dr. Dietz has a wonderful bedside manner, takes the necessary time to explain his treatment plan and answer all questions. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family or return in the future.

Dr. Dietz was very thorough, patient and communicated very well. Examined and explained in details. Provided a plan to resolve the issue and also provided a link to look up/read about the problem in details, which I really appreciated and thought was very helpful. The tech who took my X-rays was very friendly, quick and nice as well.
