Customer Reviews
Along with all of his other fabulous attributes mentioned by others… his approach to reducing the pain of the injections is the best I have experienced. Every step is explained and I can’t imagine a better experience for what is of course an uncomfortable process. Both he and Christy were very gentle!
Very happy with my visit to Dr. Hales. He is very professional, but with a great deal of common sense in finding the best treatment for your situation. He listens to make informed decisions. I'll definitely be back as the need arises and recommend him 100%.
My husband and I spent part of the morning of our 33rd wedding anniversary trip to Asheville in Dr Hale’s Ortho Urgent Care Clinic. I was so impressed, and pleased with the care provided by each staff member who interacted with me, from Connie at the front desk, to the radiology technician, the nurse, and Dr Hales. My pain was from an IT band issue, so a brace, anti-inflammatory med, and extra strength Tylenol for 2 weeks were the recommended course of treatment. I was relieved to be able to enjoy our trip knowing nothing worse was going on. 10/10 would recommend this urgent care orthopedist and the clinic!
My appointment with Dr. Hales was very helpful and informative. He was kind, empathetic, respectful, and he communicated a clear plan for taking care of my injury. His office staff was really welcoming and supportive too.
Dr. Hales is an excellent practitioner. After suffering for many years with a complicated and chronic Achilles problem, my orthopedic surgeon referred me to Dr. Hales to try a PRP treatment before doing any surgery. PRP is rarely paid by insurance, but the out of pocket expense was worth it. Dr Hales spent well over an hour with me at my consultation before scheduling the PRP treatment. He showed me, with ultrasound, the specific problems occurring with my tendon and Haglunds deformity. No one had ever taken the time to do that before. I'm 6 weeks post PRP and although its not 100%, it is much better, with increased mobility and much less pain. I was planning to have surgery this fall but now feel I can wait. I’m hopeful with PT and sport modifications I may continue to heal.
