Customer Reviews
The people at the desk are super nice and helpful but the service is slow and they always seem to be backed up and not enough people to accommodate their patrons. Long wait times to pick up your prescription as well
I have had nothing but positive experiences with the pharmacy, the staff, and the organization. I do not think that anyone realizes how military medicine works and there is a misconception that you are going to get what you want exactly when you need it. I feel very fortunate to be able to utilize this organization for my healthcare needs.
I’m seeing the bad reviews and I have to get on here and say I’ve been here 6ys getting prescriptions and I have loved how respectful, helpful, quick and organized they’ve been. It’s so great to walk out of my Dr’s appts go straight over to the pharmacy and get my Rx’s. And pay less than civilian Rx’s. I’ve hardly ever had to wait with the “get in line” texting feature they have. I had to go to a CVS when I was out of town and got gouged $240 for an Rx. They didn’t bill one of my insurance co’s. When I checked into it, it was too late!
I called both the JBER Hospital Pharmacy and Exchange refill pharmacy for 2 hours (every 10 min) on Thur morning 20 Dec 2018 and no one answered either phone. A couple of times the lines were busy but the rest no one answered. No voice mail either...it just rings. No point in filling out an ICE complaint as the folks in charge will simply make excuses stating they are busy and don't have time to bother with their CUSTOMERS.
My newborn son was hospitalized for a life threatening condition. I spent every moment with him in the hospital for a week. At discharge he required medication to treat adrenal deficiency. Without this medication he would die in a short period of time. I had the prescription sent to the JBER pharmacy. We left the hospital and went straight to get his prescription. We we're told when we tried to fill it that because my newborn son was not enrolled in DEERS yet that they refused to fill the prescription. Again, my newborn was hospitalized. You are supposed to have 90 days to enroll in Tricare. JBER pharmacy's staff or idiotic policy could have killed my son as the pediatric specialty office at Providence closed just minutes after we left JBER pharmacy. Luckily we were able to have it transf
