Please note, Dr. Jarvis and the medical team have been wonderful to work with over the past few years. My comments below are directed to the front office and the need for improvement when working with patients. I am writing as the medical and financial POA for my mother. We have appreciated aspects of the clinical care in the past. However, during a recent visit, I had concerns regarding communication and treatment planning. We were advised that my mother would need multiple root canals, which would be performed offsite by a third-party specialist, with crowns completed afterward by Dr. Jarvis. When we first started visiting the office about 3-4 years ago the office was great! We have had ups and downs, but lately its a consistent downtrend. Front office staff has left A LOT to be desired the last 2 years. During my last filling one of the metal attachments literally fell into my mouth, which was apparently worth giggling over? I can appreciate requesting 48 hour notice to canceling or a fee being charged- but maybe sending reminders more than 24 hours out from the appointment would be wise. Don't even get me started on the chaos with their billing & insurance.

I have always felt that I am in competent hands. Professional staff; always kind, and patient when feilding questions. When consulting about an issue i have been given options and reasoning behind them. I highly recommend Jarvis Dental. Actually, several of my friends go there now.

We had a wonderful experience with my daughter’s recent extraction of four baby teeth. The procedure went incredibly smoothly, and the doctor made all the difference. They were exceptionally friendly, patient, and attentive every step of the way. My daughter felt comfortable and cared for, and we truly appreciated the doctor’s calm, reassuring approach. We’re very grateful for the excellent care and would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a gentle and professional dental experience.

I have been a patient here for 10+ years and until recently have been very happy. Dr. Jarvis and the hygienists I’ve had have been great. The newer admin staff and the assistants that have led me to leave and go elsewhere. They are sassy- can’t ask a question without attitude. It recently feels as though things have changed and all they care about now is running up bills rather than customer service. I am further disappointed that after responding that I wouldn’t be coming back, I was simply taken off the schedule with no further word. When you’re losing a long-term patient- why aren’t you asking why?!
