I’ve been bringing my pets to James R. Isbell Animal Clinic for many years, and I can honestly say they’re the best around. Dr. Garrett is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable—she always takes the time to explain things clearly and makes sure our animals are comfortable. The staff is just as wonderful—friendly, caring, and always ready to help.

DO NOT USE THIS VET" They "fixed" my cat. They said they couldn't get a pain pill down her & she was in pain, to put it in her food. They said she was to mean for them to do it. Brought her home & ad no problem giving her the pill. She has never been mean, She was scared of them. What vet can't give a pill to an animal? How about a pain shot?

Why claim you close at 5 when your veterinarian leaves at 3 and can no longer accept animals. The people in the front are always rude. Why work there as a receptionist if you’re going to have an attitude with anyone who comes in asking for help. From now on I’ll be taking my furbabies to the Gadsden animal clinic, they have better service!

What vet office gets a good review over a euthanasia? Idk but what i experienced on the 21 of this month was horrible. I thought my buddy of 13 yrs might be given some kind of sedative before hand. The procedure seemed rushed, cut and dry except the 1st shot "blew out the vein". So his right leg had to be shaved to prep for another shot. All the while he's blind, not knowing what's happening, and resisting everything. Like I said, given up a friend is hard, I feel they could make it a little smoother. Callous staff, someone did hand me a paper towel. I was.crying like a baby. Thx for that. After a few days of guilt and reflection I still feel this vet could have made this easier with a sedation medication before hand and a more accommodating space for the procedure.

My cat gets his allergy shot every month at Isbells veterinary clinic, the staff is great and very good with my furry buddy
