Horrible experience, no bedside manner, no concern for his patients health & well being. This man has no business being in health care. I came into a visit weeks after a bad accident with 7 breaks in 3 bones, rods thru both my femur and fibula, and a plate on my hip.. being pushed by my wife in a wheel chair. He didn't even ask what happened. After 2 years the only thing he had ever done was hold a stethoscope up to my chest, my back and then rush me out the door. No labs, no looking in my mouth, ear, throat, reflexes, eyes, no talks about the same meds I've been on for 10 years and the problems they could be doing to my kidneys, no discussions about family health history, literally nothing. Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience Avoid Dr. James Hoyne if you can. While he initially came across as friendly, his demeanor changed abruptly during the appointment becoming dismissive, inattentive, and rushing us out well before my elderly in-laws scheduled time was up. It was confusing and upsetting how quickly the atmosphere shifted from relaxed to uncomfortable. We left feeling unheard and disregarded, which is especially troubling when it comes to healthcare. A doctor should listen to their patients and show basic respect and empathy. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Dr. Hoyne. To make matters worse, Umpqua Health informed us that they were not allowed to switch to another provider within the clinic. It's incredibly disheartening to feel trapped with a doctor

I have seen Dr. Hoynes all of two times. He spends zero time discussing anything of importance and acts like you are interrupting his day. The man has no bedside manner what so ever. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr Hoyne always acts like he has better things to do than to spend 10 minutes with me in his practice. He is not doing his job as a primary care physician.

Dr Hoyne is a wonderful Doctor. Always has a great demeanor, very helpful.
