Was abused and treated very bad by aids.i would not recommend it to anyone.lazey. nures.stling food off of trayes.gosiping.no bathing offered.very nosie staff.thaughi was sleeping came to my room and looked threw the drawers.never got your laundry back. Icould wright a book. Get in home care with a realitive also.my mom was there she was blind.the eould not feed her.bring a tray and set it down and leave i went up there and she was putting her fingers in the food trying to eat. She was droped while trying to bath her hit her head and went into coma she died.i had witness to them droping her.soi called the owner of the facility and asked them if they wanted to go to court.they ask me how much i wanted ... can't put a price on your mothers death.so the facility was closed down.all aid's wer

My mom has been there for 3+ months. I have received a lot of assistance from the office and nursing staff. We do a monthly review of her progress and they do things like; make sure she has her hearing aids on, take the food tray to her when she doesn't feel like going to the dining room. She has not had any further skin infections after being moved there, has lost all the stubborn water weight and can get around easier, likes the food and staff and is improving more than she did in over a year at another facility. So far we are very happy with the care and her health. I feel that is more important than the age of the building and the condition of the bushes outside. My father seems to be doing ok and likes the food. Hasn’t said much negative about the staff. My biggest takeaway from the facility is that it’s filthy. Incredibly strong smell of feces on entire second floor. Father’s potty chair had feces all over it. Bed linen hadn’t been changed in who knows how long….bed sheet had rust on it where the clip for his call button had been on it so long. The same soiled diapers in his trash can beside the bed two days in a row. This violates infectious control protocol as they are to be disposed of outside the room! My father was a patient at this facility (Orrville Pointe) for close to 4 months. My father liked a majority of the staff and was treated with respect. He often stated that he was appreciative of their help and made many friends there. The Admissions Director was amazing! She communicated well and promptly, always listened to our concerns and helped us facilitate next steps. I am beyond appreciative of their help over the last 4 months.

I had my aunt here for only 1 month and then realized how this is not a facility, but a prison. Not exaggerating. I just took her out a few days ago, as this "new director of nursing" the staff referred me to talk to never called me back and was busy with door closed. All I see if overworked nurses and STNAs with no help trying to make patient's happy. My aunt just can't get care at a place run by someone that is okay with things being unstructured. Truly sickening.
