Dr. Liechty was new to me over a year ago. I am 77 and it was refreshing to have someone with his energy and willingness to want to help you improve your vision without you having to do anything you do not want to do. I will be having cataract surgery by him in over a week and I am not one bit nervous. I am confident he will do a good job and I will leave another review on that event.

Although the wait time was about an hour, I was pleasantly surprised how Dr. Liechty was in going over my past history at the eye clinic. He was spot on with me and very professional in explaining my options going forward. He has great bedside manner and a lot of patience. I’m very excited about him being my eye doctor and look forward to our next visit.

Excellent experience. Had something stuck in my eye for several days before finally making an appointment. Dr.Liechty found a small piece of plastic in my eye and was able to get it out immediately. Instant relief!

I took my daughter in for mild eye inflammation. Dr Liechty gave us full attention and made her comfort top priority. He was a clear communicator and spent time explaining all details- no detail too small. He was extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Dr. Leichty is a phenomenal Opthemologist. I’ve been to many over the years due to various eye problems. He took a lot of time to explain what was going on to me and answered my questions patiently. He treated me with a lot of respect. I highly recommend Lakeland Eye Center - in particular this physician. The best.
