Loved this hospital. A family member was hospitalized here for two days and the attention and care received was excellent. Nurses and doctors were very attentive. Food was delicious and of great quality. Accommodations were excellent. Room was for a single occupant; and it was spacious and comfortable. There was a small waiting area before you entered the room, with chairs Everything was very clean. The bed was uncomfortable, but we managed. There's a recliner chair available that converts to a bed and I was able to stay the night. It was very comfortable. They also gave me pillows and blankets. There's a cafeteria on the third floor with a beautiful view, but the menu is on a TV monitor and wasn't legible. Plenty of free parking available. There's also a non-denominational chapel on si

The care we received from staff, Nurses, and CNAs at Jackson West Medical Center, both the ER and 6th floor, exceeded my expectations. They made my grandpa, and I feel welcomed and truly cared for, especially at a time when we were most vulnerable. They managed to make us laugh at a profound moment when my grandpa was ill. She is not only incredibly thorough and professional at her job, but also genuinely kind, warm, and attentive. Every time she comes in, she brings a sense of calm and comfort with her. Ashley Lee is an exceptional nurse at Jackson West Medical Center. During my grandpa’s 10-day stay, she consistently went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and treated with real compassion. She was incredibly kind, patient, and always took the time to explain things clearly to our family, which meant a lot during a stressful time. You can tell she truly cares about her patients, not just medically but as people. Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication made a huge difference in my grandpa’s experience, and in ours as a family. Patient with colonoscopy with appointment time 10am. Registration went smoothly but in waiting room we were for 2 hours until I had to speak with a nice nurse ( because there is no one at the front desk) and after that talk they called the patient, my mom, about 1pm. She was in communication with me, until 3:50pm she was waiting to get into the operating room. I’ve been in other centers where these type of procedures are getting out very quickly and the organization process is very effective. At this place it is not. Imagine an older person waiting so many hours without food for more that 48 hours and you have this unexpected long wait at the hospital.
