Dr Jack Finnell when my son was born. He had a traumatic birth, he lost blood and had seizures when born. However, his neurologist praised his growth his first year. He told me, mom, to stop crying. A baby’s brain can connect more so than an adult. But EVERY time I saw Dr Finnell, even though my son was doing great, meeting his milestones, would paint an awful picture of his future. He told me to be aware he could be autistic, have speech impediments. He came to my house on a Friday to tell my whole family how bleak he saw things for us. We were devastated. It was an awful time for me and my heart broke. I would like the world to know that today, my son has been accepted to Geneseo for physics.
