Dr. Smith was our second opinion after an upsetting first opinion by another doctor. Dr. Smith took a lot of time and energy to explain my husbands injury (lacerated index finger) and closely look at the radiology images (brought in from ER). My husband needs a lot of details before making a big decision (like surgery) and Dr. Smith provided that. He's friendly and warm. My husband's surgery was this morning, and Dr. Smith personally called the day before to reassure us again and go through the surgery steps. He met with us again before surgery and put us at ease with the procedure. Surgery went quickly with no issues or obstacles. Even though my husbands hand was worse than originally predicted by x-rays, Dr. Smith was able to repair with sutures and pins. I wish Dr. Smith had been o

Dr. Smith is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person. I feel like a special person in his care, as I'm sure all of his patients do. I've had many surgeries performed by him and they heal quickly and without any complaints. Everything is very functional after the healing process.

*Update - here it is years later and I have an incredible hand surgeon, Dr. James Saucedo. Come to find out with my new doctor and test that were done, I never had carpal tunnel syndrome. So, Dr Smith did a completely unnecessary surgery. Seriously, run as far as you can from this guy! Be warned now..... don't see this guy. Did carpal tunnel surgery on my hand and a year later numbness and tingling are back again. He was also supposed to do injections at the time of the surgery and come to find out from our insurance company he didn't do it. Even though this was his plan of treatment and it was even discussed in pre-op and he never told me why. In fact he never saw me again after my surgery they only would schedule me with his assistant. Dr. Kevin smith did a small surgery on my finger for small calcium deposit.my pain never went away but I always thought I have to give it some time to heal from inside. My pain is gradually getting worst than before the surgery. Just contacted them to find out why is still hurting they said unfortunately they don’t take my insurance anymore. I have to deal my pain😥 until I find another hand doctor. They don’t take responsibility on their work they do if you don’t have money. Money money is all about money. 😭
