J & J Pharmacy

This used to be an awesome pharmacy - it was the household go-to. J&J was owned by the same pharmacist (Michael) for over 30 years and then he sold it in the summer of 2025. The result? A new owner that won't return calls and a pharmacy that represents that decay in service level/patient care. My suggestion is that you avoid this pharmacy now. It just isn't the same as it used to be. A sad loss for Teaneck.

Let’s give the new owners a chance. I believe they have responded to the initial problems seen in the first weeks of the ownership transition. Several days ago, I was there and saw all familiar faces and phones answered on the first ring. Let’s not forget why we all originally moved from the corporate pharmacies to our neighborhood, independent pharmacy.

They sold to people and pharmacists that do not know how to use the system find or refill medication. I have a terminal illness and keep having issues with them unprofessionally closing on a regular day that I'm supposed to get my refills,not to mention they do not answer the phone and if they do plan on staying on hold for up to an hour.. I WILL NOT BE CONTINUING DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for 6 years. I’ve been seeing them every month for 6 years. My hometown pharmacy. The only pharmacy who ever treated me w respect as a recovered addict. I go to them for meds that aid in my recovery. Allegedly they switched owners recently no one called me in advance to tell me they waited until my script arrived to tell me they are waiting on a shipment that may or may not arrive on Wednesday of this week. I go today and they tell me at the register the shipment didn’t arrive. And they don’t know when it’ll arrive so yeah I can go somewhere else. Just like that the pharmacist didn’t bother to come talk to me himself. This is not a medication that pharmacies that don’t know you are eager to fill, many pharmacies don’t carry it.
