I liked her, but she documented things in my visit notes that we never even discussed. The result was that billing coded things as “diagnostic” rather than “preventative,” and I was billed for things that should have been covered under my insurance. When I called their office and requested they correct the coding and resubmit, they said that because it was in her visit notes, they couldn’t change it. I said she needed to change her visit notes because they were inaccurate, and she refused.

Dr. Coleman is my wife’s and my mother’s primary care physician. She is the best doctor, real professional, with high level of expertise. Caring, supportive and very knowledgeable. She truly cares about her patients. If we could give Dr. Coleman 100 stars, we would! Her staff is amazing, well organized and friendly. Office is clean. Front desk staff is great, always smiling and welcoming. Girls in the lab are wonderful, they do their job well.

The staff was courteous and prompt and Dr. Coleman was very thorough, knowledgeable and prepared to discuss my health opportunities. She provided detailed explanations on what meds she prescribed, why she prescribed them and what the expected outcome we are striving for. Dr. Coleman has an excellent bedside manner and I would recommend her practice to everyone!

Dr. Coleman is an outstanding physician: very comprehensive in her evaluation and actively listens to me. I also appreciate her conservative approach to care. The reason for the four stars is simple: both times that I have had an office visit, it was made clear to me that I was to wait in the exam room following the doctor's visit and a staff member would come in to check me out. The first visit, I waited 25 minutes and finally left the exam room and asked the all seated staff if anyone was coming in and the staff asked who I was. The second visit, the same thing happened. I waited, but this time only about 12 minutes - pretty well knowing that the same thing would happen. I again, asked for my check out paperwork but at least the staff member recognized my name from the patient list. It

Dr. Ivorie Coleman, is one of the best doctors, I have ever had, she is very attentive to your needs and she listen to all your concerns and with her knowledge finds solutions. She is not one of those doctors to just push pills on you, if there are other ways to treat your problems she starts there. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
