IU Health Neurology - Fort Wayne

I’d rate my Doctor Santiago and nurse Pam 5 stars. I’d rate them a 10 if I could. But the scheduling staff and service here TERRIBLE. I have not had one appointment that hasn’t been messed up in some way shape or form. Then they said they’d get the manager and asked me to wait. I waited and waited then she said oh she’ll be here then apologized and said actually she’s on the phone will you call her. I’ve even tried to call patient advocate… NOTHING. They’ve even CONFIRMED my appointment once and then cancelled it even with my nurse right next to me! They have put me with the WRONG doctor countless times and blamed it on their system. My work system does the same thing at times but I the SCHEDULER is responsible to CHECK. Dr. Santiago has done his best to make this right so has nurse Pam. T

I had a great experience at this office. Jackie was very pleasant with check in and made it go very smooth. I had Dr Terri Hufford, first time she was very thorough with me. She did a great job and made me feel very comfortable. Sarah G. she made the check out very quick and easy. It was overall a great experience

Poor customer service. My mom who is post stroke missed her appointment. The women who we talked to was rude, and dismissive of my concern for getting a new appointment, said she was trying to help, but couldn’t get her in until late April. Disappointed with the experience all around. Hire better people to do scheduling, that actually care about the patients and their individual needs!

I had a truly unpleasant experience and left the office in tears. Dr. Gupta lost patience with me reading off my symptoms and kept hurrying me, saying he had to see the other patients. I had been waiting 6 months to see a specialist before my family dr told me of this new clinic that i could get in quickly. He didn't even let me finish before he said he didn't know why my doctor sent me to him and that I needed to see a different kind of dr. I had never had a doctor leave mid sentence before. They called today to set up a follow up appointment and I told them he was way too rude for me to want to do business with him or IUHealth ever again.

Hi! I am a patient of Dr Santiago! He is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend him ! He treats his patients with much care and respectfulness and dignity! Absolutely highly recommend him!! He really takes the time to listen, explain things clearly, and never makes you feel rushed. He is highly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to my well-being and the wellbeing of others! I leave feeling reassured and confident in my care of neurology!
