Wonderful Experience . Dr. Pate Smith is an Amazing dentist very comforting, and informative, He talked me through everything he was doing in my mouth before he did it. He also kept asking me if I was okay. A dentist that cares about you, I really appreciate that.The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They all made my dental experience amazing. Great experience at Islands Dental. This was our first visit and we could not be more pleased. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Dr. Pate Smith was very thorough with our exams and explained everything. Just an overall great dental visit.

I recently felt a rough area on one of my back jaw teeth & thought it was a filling going bad. Nope I grind my teeth at night & ground through the porcelain of a crown. Dr Pate Smith smoothed the area & I have had no issues since. I love this Dr & his staff, makes me feel better about going to the dentist.

First visit to Dr Pate Smith’s office. It was the most thorough visit from x-rays, cleaning, examination and discussion regarding my dental health. Truly a wonderful experience! His staff was amazing also! Thank you and I look forward to my next visit.

I am so glad I was fortunate enough to choose Islands Family Dental, the VA had a few options for me to choose from. I was very impressed with the friendly staff from the time I walked in the door, Karen was awesome she talked me through every detail of cleaning my teeth before,during and after, even the difficult part of getting photos of my entire mouth which calmed me down, I don’t think anyone can get use to going to the dentist. The Dr was very thorough with explaining to me what was going on with my visit and the Dental Plan we were going to establish for me, the best part was he didn’t rush through explaining anything and answered all my questions in detail…. NOW I see why it’s named Island Family Dental I definitely felt like part of their family when I left, definitely looking fo
