Dr. Micheal Bellino is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. He is one of the only PAO doctors for hip dysplasia on the island. I was extremely anxious going into surgery, but he took the time to explain why it was necessary + made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The surgery + recovery went smoothly. I went from living with constant chronic pain to having none at all. I don’t regret this decision for a second. I was breastfeeding throughout this entire process, + he was very understanding/supportive of that, as well as the added complexities of being active-duty military. I’m now preparing for a hardware removal + continue to feel well cared for. He never made me feel dismissed or like my concerns were going in one ear + out the other which is incredibly reassuring + refreshing.

Dr. Van Der Reis was wonderful from the moment I had my first appointment with him. He thoroughly explained and illustrated my injury, in such a kind and compassionate manner. Dr. Van Der Reis also presented very clear options on ways he would surgically reconstruct my knee. I am so grateful he performed my arthroscopic surgery. Currently, I am 7 months post surgery, and I’m getting closer to my baseline than I ever thought was possible. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Bellino performed a complex surgical repair on my hamstring that required anchors, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I’ve received. He is highly skilled, thorough, and takes the time to explain things clearly and honestly. Throughout my recovery, he’s been attentive, realistic, and supportive, which has made a challenging process much easier to navigate. I always feel heard during my appointments, and I have complete confidence in his care. I would strongly recommend him and his amazing staff to anyone needing orthopedic treatment here on Oahu. Dr. Min had prepared for my visit by looking through my MRI results prior to seeing me, gave a thorough physical exam and explained in good detail what my condition was. He encouraged questions, didn’t rush me and made sure I felt comfortable with the options. I haven’t had surgery yet but think he would be very competent.

I recently had distal bicep tendon surgery with Dr. Min. He's an exceptional orthopaedic surgeon who explains every step clearly and makes you feel confident about the surgery and treatment. I had no complications after surgery, almost no pain, and recovery is going very well. Sarah and the the staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile.
