Island Dental Margate

I don’t recommend going there.I needed a tooth pulled but I specifically told them I do not want to do that without having something to fill the gap same day so I can work dealing with the public for my profession. They said ok. The dentist removed 2 teeth and sold me a flipper( cosmetic only) instead of a partial denture. It did not fit because it wasn’t made properly. When I came back he tried to make it fit and when it didn’t he tried to use denture creeme to attach it to the roof of my mouth instead of offering to remake it .He then spoke to me in a condescending manner telling me I was being “combative “ because they wouldn’t fit. He told me all my teeth needed to go and I need full dentures which wasn’t true per another dentist.So he then told me that he can no longer be my dentist a

This place was amazing. My porcelain veneer fell off and other places that i called were offering me appointments two weeks out. island dental got me right in. I didn’t have to wait too long and the dentist was great and fixed my tooth and the price was extremely reasonable.

Staff was very thorough, gentle and professional during my cleaning. They explained all procedures and answered all of my questions and concerns. Dr. McLaughlin will be performing my follow up and I know I am in good hands. I would highly recommend!

After one cleaning with Kristen, I decided this office was not the right fit for me. She cleaned aggressively, tugging at my permanent retainer, and the rest of the cleaning felt rushed. Overall, the exam did not meet the standards I expect, so I would not recommend this practice, particularly with Kristen as the hygienist.

Great staff! Dr. McLaughlin and her son are very friendly and gentle. The lady who cleaned my teeth did a very good job too! Strongly recommend.
