We are so grateful to the entire team at this office for the kindness and care they showed our sweet Finley. After bringing her back to the States with us following many years abroad, we were hoping to find a place that would make her feel safe and loved and in just a few visits, they did exactly that. As Finley’s health started to decline, each appointment was met with patience, compassion, and genuine warmth. The staff took their time with her, got down on the floor beside her, and made sure she was as comfortable as possible. From the front desk to the assistants to the doctors, everyone treated her with such tenderness. Truly the definition of ‘the better angels of society’ & even that’s an understatement. Did flawless things for us when we had to put one of beloved out of their misery. Also have given immaculate care to our current family members. Finally, their prices are beyond fair and I’d even argue they’re deserving of more for all they do for people & animals as well. Island Animal Hospital in Cocoa Beach is the very Best! Dr Ballard is such a kind and very knowledgeable Dr. All the technicians show such loving care and concern for all the fur babies. They always have smiles when they greet me. My appts are always on time, no waiting. I would not choose any other office to take my beloved fur baby to. Thank you all for being amazing!

I had such a great experience at Island Animal Clinic with Dr. Dexter and her assistant Donnie. My dog is usually a nervous wreck at the vet, but they made him feel so comfortable and at ease. Dr. Dexter was thorough and took the time to explain everything going on with my dog in a way that was easy to understand. She walked me through all of the treatment options without any pressure, which I really appreciated. On top of that, they even trimmed his nails while we were there! I left feeling confident in the care my dog received and so grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the whole team. Extremely clean office as well! Highly recommend!

After discontinuing service from a vet in Merritt Island, that was horrendous and our follow up appointment here at Island animal Hospital, my hundred pound pitbull was terrified, He had a bad encounter at his last appointment at a prior vet, which is why we switched. The staff here were phenomenal as scared as my giant dog was. They were so gracious and kind to how anxious and nervous he was at the follow up appointment. We had gone here for allergy testing prior with a phenomenal experience, and the only reason we hadn’t brought him sooner was though he lives the car he tends to get sick on longer drives. But it’s worth the drive. They are reasonably priced. They were able to give him all his shots and he was due for everything, even though he was howling through a muzzle and jumping aro
