Ishita Aggarwal, MD: Pacific Rheumatology Associates

Dr Aggarwal responds quickly to my RA concerns when I text her. She is a patient doctor who listens to my concerns when I have my appointments with her. I appreciate her genuine and professional attitude in dealing with my issues. She has helped me with several medications and presently have found that Rinvoq is working.

With an urgent need for a Rheumatologist, I did some research and asked my Doctor to refer me to Pacific Rheumatology Associates (PRA) before realizing or understanding what a "Concierge" Doctor was. After contacting them they responded immediately with information on how they worked - but I decided to try the conventional UCSF option first. It didn't take long for me to come to the realization that the PRA service was what I needed - after UCSF scheduled my "urgent" appointment for March 2026! Upon signing up with PRA I was sitting in Dr Aggarwal's office the following morning - and couldn't be happier! I received the urgent care i needed, have had immediate follow-up by her support staff and two subsequent zoom consultations since. They allow you to pay the modest annual 'membership'

I only saw her for about 10 minutes. She reviewed my lab results and said she couldn’t give me a diagnosis. I didn’t have a follow-up, repeat labs, or any further evaluation. Some of my inflammatory markers were elevated, including C-reactive protein and ANA. I also had rashes resembling lupus and have experienced joint pain for about a year. Despite a strong family history of rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and psoriasis, apparently, she didn’t think a follow-up or ongoing monitoring was necessary. I guess she believes autoimmune diseases appear suddenly and are clear-cut to diagnose, otherwise, there’s no need for me to see her again. Dr Aggarwal is very knowledgeable. She takes time to listen, answer my questions, and consider my suggestions. I have never felt rushed. She has been helpful to me. She communicates wonderfully with my other doctors. I feel lucky to have found her. As far as I'm concerned she's a keeper!

Dr.Aggarwal and her staff have been a tremendous help to me since being diagnosed with RA in October. Dr.Aggarwal is not only kind and caring yet she’s quick to respond to any question by email or phone, spends a good amount of time during appointments, explains things clearly and is an incredible doctor. I feel fortunate to have found her - she’s helped get my pain under control and I can’t thank her enough for all she’s done. Her office staff is also quick to respond, quite helpful with appointments, and are kind and thoughtful as well. .
