Dr. Seward’s is an amazing orthopedic doctor. I had a problem with my knee and went to see him because I was afraid that it might have been and patellar tendon injury or something like that and he knew right away after examining my knee that it was osgood-schlatters that was irritating it. After getting X-Rays I went back so he can look at them and he also drained the ganglion cyst on my wrist. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for an orthopedic doctor to go see!!!

I just saw that Dr. Patrick Sewards passed away October 16, 2025. He will be missed.

Iron Run Orthopedics cares. Dr. Sewards listens, makes himself available, kicks butt when necessary, and prepares you to meet your challenges whatever they may be. The staff is exceptional and the atmosphere is truly one of a big, caring family. Everyone offers you acceptance and encouragement. Going there nourishes body, mind, and soul.

I can NOT say enough about Dr. Sewards and the staff at Iron Run Orthopedics. On Saturday February 3 I tore my ACL while kickboxing. I wasn’t able to put any weight on it at all and waited til Monday morning to try to get in with a dr at the hospital. My friend had been coming to see Dr. S for about a month and she had been raving about his physical therapy and how amazing the place was. I took a chance to see if he could see me that Monday morning and he said absolutely, come right down. He maneuvered my leg and told me it felt loose. It was so swollen, he drained it right in the office which relieved so much pressure I already thought he was an angel. He told me he believed it was my ACL and he sent me right away for an MRI. I was able to get my MRI the same day and when I called to let
