Interventional Radiology at Medstar Hospital Center

I wanted share my wonderful experience I had with Interventional Radiology . Dr.Horton team from the beginning to the end was phenomenal. Although I never got meet Dr.Horton who was my surgent. Elaine navigation nurse and Surgery team and also can never forget recovery nurse who notice I was in discomfort never even had to reach out to her just by her monitoring me made sure I was pain free while recovering bedside manner was superb. The nurse that was in my surgery listen to me having issues with knee even had the physician come down and speak to me while I was recovery to provide additional resources that he could help me relief some of that pain I was experiencing even though I was there for a different procedure. The only thing I was disappointed with was never meeting Dr. Horton in p

So many issues. First, they cancelled my appointment without telling me. Then I called to schedule and they put me on for a different day than they told me so twice I drove down there and didn't have an appointment. Dr. Nezami misdiagnosed me (I saw another doctor who noted a missed diagnosis on the same scan). To top it off, they do not file claims with insurance correctly and refuse to resubmit the claim. I'm out $1500 and had horrible experiences and a lack of adequate care.

Great experience in the Medstar Washington Hospital MRI Dept.. Ms. Richards greeted me in a very friendly manner, showed great professionalism, and made quick work of my intake process. Enabling Leneefah Samuel to get me settled, while she expertly performed my MRI. She made me feel comfortable and valued. Her music selection was awesome and before I knew it, I was done. Definitely would recommend this MRI department to anyone looking to have this procedure done. Establishment was clean and they took no time addressing my appointment. Just wanted to give credit where it is due. Thank you Medstar Washington Hospital MRI Dept.

The staff is wonderful,I was very afraid to have my Brain aneurysm procedure Dr.Lu took time to explain my options even if I didn’t want the procedure that he would keep a eye on it .I decided to call Ms.Lisa Brown she’s very kind and helpful she took time to prep me for my procedure the blood work I needed and also the medication I needed to take and instructions to do before it was time ,she even checked on my after my procedure,Dr.Lu checked on me as well ,he made me laugh and my daughter as well ,I call him Super Star he’s a outstanding doctor I recommend him to anyone who had the same issue that I had ,I have one aneurysm left I’m afraid but I know Dr.Lu will take care of it because I trust him.

Absolute garbage, unprofessional, rude, and need to have their license revoked. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
