Intermountain Thoracic, Lung, and Esophageal Surgery

I cannot say enough good things about the Thorasic Team at IMC! They answered my many, many questions and were genuinely happy to do so every time. I have no doubt their attention to detail and careful consideration of my health led to my recovery and the best possible outcome.

Dr. Griffin did a really nice job of telling us what he thought about we needed to do or might need to do surgically from my current health issues. He explained things thoroughly in terms that we could understand. It was an overall great experience.

I was very pleased with Dr Stringham's level of knowledge. After getting the run around from a surgeon in St George, my lung dr referred me to Dr Stringham. He really put me at ease instead of trying to put the fear of God into me. Moving forward, I am very comfortable with my upcoming surgery. Thank you Dr Stringham!

The doctor were great in surgery. They were informative. Now that the surgery is over and I'm at home the only way I can get them to answer questions is through IHC complaint dept. The questions I've had are the type they told me to immediately call about, increased pain, not slapping, change in temp or swelling of incisuons, shacking and trembling. Twice I've called for help twice they said they would have someone call back in a few minutes to a couple of hours, and twice I've had to contact IHC complaints to get any kind of help after 24 hrs.

Dr Smit explains everything to me in a way that l can understand, so thankful for his expertise. The staff is always very caring with me. I appreciate everyone.
