The team at this ihc instacare were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in I felt cared for. From reception all way till all saw the PA every staff member was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I’ve never had a better experience at an urgent care.

The check in staff was amazing! Sweet ladies at the front desk! The nurse that checked my blood pressure and temperature was very friendly and efficient. The Doctor that was assigned to evaluate me was horrible. I went in complaining of a persistent cough that I’ve had for a couple of weeks as well as a sore throat and severe sinus pressure. He barely checked me. Made me open my mouth but didn’t even really look to see the back of my throat. He spent maybe five seconds listening to my lungs and said he thinks I may have a sinus infection. Did not run a Covid test, did not run a strep throat test or basically anything other than a quick evaluation to get me the heck out of there as quick as he could. Went here because my husband had an issue, and the doctor wouldn’t even take a look at him. I kept asking if he could just check to see whether we needed to go to the ER — just look — but he refused. I understand it was close to closing time, but that shouldn’t mean sending patients to the ER for another expensive visit after already paying for Instacare. So, we went to the ER, waited two hours, and the doctor there simply looked at my husband and said it would go away on its own — to just watch it. Exactly what Instacare could have told us if they had taken two minutes to examine him. Now I have two bills to pay for the same issue. Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing experience.

The doctor I met with was very kind and personable and helpful, and the Front Desk staff was attentive and courteous as well. I was really grateful to be able to be seen as I was on Friday soon before closing and I had a family event to attend to after. I was rude after looking over potential diagnoses on Google and had tried to call a few specialist but did not receive any calls (From non-intermountain providers) so I was thankful how easy and efficient the process with in intermountain . also by the way , it is a really beautiful facility and location.

Nurse Julie is the best!! Everyone we met with was awesome and not too long of a wait.
