Intermountain Health Orem Community Hospital

There is a strong sense of love and community at this hospital. We felt supported and empowered throughout delivery. They were excited with us, and we didn't feel like just another number. Every person you talk to is super knowledgeable and has been doing this a long time without losing their passion. The birthing tub was amazing. God bless this beautiful place.

I love this hospital. I have had 5 kids here, 4 of them completely unmedicated. The nurses and all the staff are so helpful and kind and encouraging. There's a snack room for when you get a midnight craving or so your husband doesn't have to leave to go get food and they have a slushy machine. The food is really good for hospital food. You stay in the same room for your whole stay so you don't have to go through the uncomfortable process of moving rooms right after delivery and have plenty of time to bond with baby right after birth. Thank you everyone who has made my births memorable in a positive way. Kim and Carley were especially patient and positive in this last birth experience.

I will absolutely be delivering at this hospital again. I truly cannot say enough about how they exceeded my expectations. The staff was excellent, every interaction was kind and gentle. All of my nurses were helpful and encouraging during my long labor, including moving me to different positions, providing counter pressure, and coaching my partner through supporting me. They allowed me to decline night visits so I got good rest. The nursery has donated breast milk and promotes breast feeding bottle practices. The lactation consultants were so helpful and visited multiple times at my request. The food was good for hospital food, and the room service staff was super sweet. Every staff member made sure I was loaded up on supplies and they sent me home with a ton of breastfeeding support / p

I went to the Orem Community Hospital Emergency Room yesterday morning at the request of my dentist because I have a severely infected tooth, a visibly huge and swollen cheek, and so much pain, OTC meds weren't touching it so I was forced to take my back pain meds (which still didn't take the pain away,) as well as a fever of 103.4 earlier in the morning. My dentist thought I should go to the ER for IV antibiotics for fear that my tooth infection had turned into something much more serious because the antibiotics he gave me weren't working. The admitting person was a sweetheart as was the male nurse; both compassionate, empathetic, and kind. The doctor came in and made me feel foolish and idiotic for going to the ER for 'simple' tooth pain, actually pulling faces at the mention of a dent
