Integrative Medical Care- Dr. Federico Canavosio, MD

Dr. Canavosio is incredibly rude, and his office is very ineffective in anything but extracting co-payments. During my intake appointment, which could easily be conducted by a Nurse Practitioner as is done by other doctors, he declined to review my latest blood test results, referring me to the office staff. Dr. Canavosio assured me that after reviewing the blood tests and the information he collected from me during the visit, he will adjust my prescription medications to improve my health issues. Before leaving, I gave the information to the receptionist and then sent it again via email. However, when I came in for the follow-up visit, I discovered that an NP would see me, but since she had no blood test results, she would not be able to provide me with any help. An office manager said

I cannot recommend this practice. The Doctor recommended to me a product that 2 other health care professionals, one an MD and another a health care professional told me was contraindicated for my condition. I emailed to address this and other concerns from my first visit. The response was that the info will be forwarded on to Chelsea. I do not know who that is and did not sign up for Chelsea. I am happy for those who find their treatment at this practice rewarding. It is surely not for me.

This practice as a whole is a real gem. The office manager Rochelle is especially dedicated to making sure patients individual needs are met with assisting with special patient assistance programs and working closely with other offices, pharmacies and insurance companies to make sure patients have what they need for their health and lifestyle. A dedicated manager is Key to a well oiled machine.

Dr. Canavosio is extraordinary intelligent Doctor with solid human values. Dr. Canavosio is very dedicated and care for his patients.He listen to you carefully and gives you sufficient time say you problems and concerns, which boosts the morale of the patient so they can feel much better. Nowadays doctors don’t have too much time to listen to you, because their busy schedule.We could rarely find doctors like Dr. Canavosio, who worries about a patient like a family member. I am very thankful to him and wish him all the best always.

From the moment my husband and I tried to establish care at this clinic. It was a frustrating experience filled with disorganization, lack of basic medical protocol and poor communication. We both came in for physical assessments, standard checkups, to begin care with a new provider. We received no actual physical examination, no listening to our heart or lungs, no ear checks- nothing that would qualify as a basic physical. It was as if the visit was just about ordering labs and sending us on our way. When I finally received the After Visit summary, which took them about 4 days, I was shocked to see that there was a complete set of vital signs listed, even though they only took our blood pressure - that's extremely concerning and raises serious questions about how records are being compl
