Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care

I finally had enough and left after 6+ years. It used to be great. Then it started going downhill about two years ago. They want to be your primary care doctor, but with the revolving door of staff that's impossible. I went through three new doctors in six months, and each one of them wanted me to come in before they'd refill my ongoing prescription because they wouldn't refill it otherwise. Of course they expected me to pay for it as well. Nope. Your staffing problems aren't my problem. The last time I was there, I stopped by because of some muscle spasms and they told me they weren't accepting walk-ins that day, despite patients in the waiting room. Just go to Sentara down the street and get quality care.

Provider was excellent. Staff was respectful and courteous. Nurse Practitioner posses great understanding and knowledge of the treatment administered while visiting and after. Highly recommended!

We were seen promptly. Our provider was very kind and attentive. The staff properly communicated that we were waiting for the radiologist to arrive from another facility and even that happened fairly quickly. They even held onto my purse when I forgot it in the room and left. The provider called me back with a follow up not too long after we left. I was very satisfied with my visit

Reception got me a urine cup for my sample super quick, I was able to see the doctor within my appointment time, and the diagnosis was all within 5 minutes. Got my rx and everything from Walgreens in under an hour. Best urgent care experience I have ever had.

Won't return primarily for important two reasons - I was first patient of day and noticed blood on the door handle to the bathroom so unless one of the four visible (somewhat terse) employees cut themselves that a.m., shows they do not even wipe down/disinfect this facility at night. The person who was doing my initial intake (she did not introduce herself nor state her position although I assume/hope she was a nurse) quickly wiped it down after I pointed it out. Other reason is once I did see the P.A. (guess there's no doctors on site) said they couldn't order any blood tests and told me to go to the E.R. if I thought I needed one. Much like going to see the school nurse but less friendly. Disappointing for an Inova facility to say the least.
