My first visit I came in with a dental emergency and they fit me in despite being completely full for the day (two other dentists in other practices in the city declined). I want to share that it appears that Innovative Dentistry is part of a Dental Service Organization (DSO) called HeartLand Dental, which is owned by a PRIVATE EQUITY firm named KKR. KKR is a huge PRIVATE EQUITY firm and if you search for them you can easily find more information. Conventional wisdom suggests that PRIVATE EQUITY produces CONFLICT OF INTEREST for doctors since they must strive to meet revenue goals imposed by their PRIVATE EQUITY overlords that may not necessarily align with the patients' best medical interest. I encourage you to take with a mountain of salt the opinions on this topic from doctors who exist within this kind of ecosystem. They're tainted.
