Indian River Medical Office

I was a patient of Dr Ochoa while admitted at Parrish Medical Center. I was discharged with instructions to follow up with Dr Ochoa in his office after discharge. I called his office and they refused to schedule an appointment for me because I didn't have an independent referral? Ummm hello? What does that even mean. Does discharge instructions to follow up in office equate to a "referral" since the doctor is saying I want you to come back for an outpatient follow-up??? Great doctor but the office staff needs serious help....this makes no sense...

Outstanding Care! We are so impressed with Taylor Greene, APRN, our new primary care provider. They go above and beyond for my family’s wellness, taking the time to listen and provide excellent care. The office is clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Really liked my PA, Jacklyn Xavier and the front desk folks. The Ochoa doctors, not so much. A bit strange and quirky. They’d gotten angry that I’d left their substandard hospital where they’d worked, to go to a far nicer one in Rockledge and said they’d now refuse to take me as a client. My daughter spoke with other health professionals and an attorney friend who said that was a strange reaction of them which they’d never heard of. Good riddance. Got a better GP too now.

I have seen Taylor Greene each time I have visited. She is very thorough and listens great. She takes the time to explain things.

Great team of professionals who care about you and your health. Jackie Xavier is one of the best PA I have ever had as she is thorough and very knowledgeable of her work. I highly recommend this establishment.
