The physical therapists I worked with were all kind and helpful for ways to deal with my pain. Thanks to them & the exercises they taught me, my pain is gone!

I have always respected Cleveland Clinic but my experience with physical therapy at the Indian River Hospital location in Vero Beach was not acceptable. Three times I carefully explained to Marika that after my Ulnar nerve transposition surgery I was instructed by my orthopedic surgeon to never use my arm in a bent position to support weight. Each time she insisted that I do the exercise that she requested saying "it's only for a minute, it won't hurt anything". Each time I reluctantly performed the exercise. On the 3rd time I felt a sharp pain and have experienced pain in the elbow and middle finger ever since. It has been almost 2 months. I like everyone here. Yes, a couple of the therapists are a bit tough on me and I leave in pain thinking they were “too rough”, but they are doing wonders on me and my shoulder.
