Impressions Pediatric Therapy

I LOVE every therapist that works with both of my sons. Everyone knows who my sons are even if they do not personally work with them. The assistant therapist are great. I strongly recommend Impressions Pediatric Therapy to any parent I come across in any conversation Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy! I have more videos than pictures. I’ll give a review on TikTok for the videos. It’s about to be 1 year in a couple weeks since my older son started. So much improvement!!!

I was confirmed for an appointment after submitting my son's referral for them to turn around and call me back weeks later to deny my son services due to him having cerebral palsy. If that were the case, why tell me he was good to go during our initial phone call? This only delayed my son receiving care any sooner due to me thinking he would be seen here next month.

If I could give them negative stars I would. I walked in on the speech manager improperly restraining my child without my consent or knowledge. All they did was make excuses and traumatize my child. The owner even told tried to justify her behavior. They acted as if I didn’t know there are protocols to follow when restraining is required and none of those protocols were met and to retrain a child and try to get them to forcefully do a puzzle for speech services is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to bring their child here and if you have no other choice do not leave your child unattended.

Update (March 2025): The front desk receptionists are amazing! They always greet my son warmly each time we walk through the door, which makes our visits even more welcoming. While there may have been an off day in the past, I truly appreciate the kindness and consistency they show during our visits. Kelly Hawkins is very rude and picks and chooses which clients she enforces policies with. My child has been receiving speech therapy for about 2 years in December I was contacted about switching my daughter's time during the holiday which I had no issue with however I wanted her to remain with her same speech therapist because she is autistic and responds best to a familiar therapist. Kelly got snippy with me and told me that her therapist would be on maternity leave soon and it would benefit my child to get used to another therapist as she would have to when her teacher is out in school. I informed her that my daughter's school ensures that she always has a familiar face in the room to ensure she can adjust as a child with special needs.
