Ignite Medical Resorts St. Peters

Our dear friends Pam Webb and Kathy Williams were the 1st 2 ladies here. They are so much happier now that they have moved there. Staff is very nice, polite. Facility is beautiful, clean. The Holloween party turned out so nice. Pam and Kathy tell us all the time how good the food is etc. I'm so happy for them both.

We’re so thankful for the outstanding care our loved one receives at Ignite Medical Resort St.Peters. The staff are kind, attentive, and treat residents like family. The facility is clean, welcoming, and full of engaging activities. Communication is excellent, and we always feel informed and supported. Highly recommend for anyone seeking quality, compassionate care. Unfortunately, from the time we made the our first post 4 months ago things have changed for the worse at the St.Peters Ignite location. We are still thankful, but It seems to us that Ignite has some serious staffing issues and that they are definitely no longer able to provide the "uncompromising care" stated in their moto. Hopefully they address the issues asap.

Although there are several amazing nurses and techs, care is often sub-par, call light response has been delayed for over 45 minutes several times a day with weekend wait times up to 2 hours 30 minutes, communication from the staff is poor leading to patient anxiety, and supplies are not on site. The in-house dialysis coordination has been dicey but is in its infancy. The dialysis team is competent. The facility is beautiful and clean. The front desk staff has been helpful. Speech therapist is outstanding. Physical Therapy has been fantastic as well. The therapy staff listen, have a great balance between pushing for advancement and knowing patient limitations, provide feedback to achieve success and to provide motivation.

This beautiful designed resort is severely under staffed and should not be considered a physical rehab facility. If you or your loved one need to recover from any illness or injury this is not a place for you. After 10 days we had our uncle transferred to another facility that does three hours of rehab per day versus twenty minutes day. This is a new facility and the rooms are not really designed for handicapped people. Very disappointed and we'll never go back again.

My visit with my friend was just a couple hours long. At 96 Mr Holschen was very tired. But I got to watch him at physical therapy for a couple of minutes. He's stronger after his bout with pneumonia over Christmas holiday.
