Ideal Dental Universal City

I had a dental extraction done today on tooth #13 and my overall experience was great! I’m a very nervous person when it comes to anything other than cleanings and the oral surgeon’s assistant George Younglove was a God send! He was so friendly and respectful. He helped calm my nerves and explain everything so I knew what to expect. It was surprisingly a fast process. The surgeon was also friendly and did a great job! Thanks 🙏🏻

Everything from the waiting room to the exam room is clean and pretty, the front desk is kind, cheerful, and helpful, and the professionals in the back are. . . well, professional. It's not difficult to get an appointment and they work quickly and the work is quality. We invested in the plan for those without dental insurance and it's worth the (reasonable!) monthly fee! We will definitely be patients here for a long time! (Services: cleaning, a filling, and a crown.)

I am a new patient and had a wonderful experience at Ideal dental. Beginning with the receptionist being being sweet and helpful, to the techs and the Dr himself, it was a great overall experience. I would recommend it to anyone needing dental care.

The front office staff, hygienist, and assistant were all courteous and professional, and I appreciated their respectful attitude throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the wait time between my cleaning and when the doctor was supposed to come in for the exam was excessive—about 20 minutes. I had allotted a little over an hour for the appointment, but because of the delay I had to leave without receiving the doctor’s hands-on exam in order to make it back to work. I was charged $50 for the irrigation, which I authorized, but I am concerned that my insurance may be billed for an exam that never actually took place. Bunch of good reviews, so maybe I caught them on a bad day. Took my 14 month old for her first dentist appointment. Waited in the waiting room 45 minutes after our appointment time before I spoke up. Got called to the back soon after. Waited in the treatment area another 20 minutes and decided to walk out. Another thing, and maybe I only noticed this because we had a toddler, the floor was FILTHY in the waiting room and in the procedure area like it hadn't been swept in a week. They didn't charge a cancel fee, and were very nice, so kudos for that.
