Could not see well through the glasses with the new prescription. Costco told us that the glasses were correct for the prescription written, and advised us to go back to the doctor and get the prescription checked again. However, the doctor office won't check the correctness of the prescription without charge, even if it was wrong in the first place, because it was past 60 days. They told us to get a new appointment and a new prescription for which we would have to pay a full price because 2nd exam is not covered by our insurance. We will also have to pay for the new glasses. Shouldn't the doctor be responsible for writing a wrong prescription?

I encountered a significant issue with the online appointment system. I booked online and received an email detailing a specific date, time, and provider. Upon arrival, I was told I didn't have an appointment because the email was a 'request,' not a 'confirmation.' This distinction wasn't clear, and I did not receive the follow-up confirmation call that the staff mentioned was part of their process. As a result, I had to wait to be 'squeezed in', which I was not willing to do. Poor Front Desk Experience on May 19, 2025 I called the office on May 19, 2025, at around 12:45 PM to schedule an appointment, and unfortunately had a very negative experience with the lady at the front desk. She was extremely rude and unprofessional—raising her voice, speaking over me, going back and forth in a disrespectful tone, and ultimately hanging up the phone on me. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone in a customer-facing role. If this is how patients are treated when trying to make an appointment, it’s very discouraging. I truly hope management or HR addresses this issue with proper customer service training. If not, many patients—including myself—may consider going elsewhere.

Waited about a month for my new glasses to come in, only for them to call me up and tell me "um, yeah, your new frames were discontinued and you won't be getting them." They claimed at first to have just found out and told me to come in (again) and pick out new frames. When I asked them how do they know the new frames I'd pick out weren't also discontinued they told me they check before they order them. Hmm - why didn't it happen the first time then? I asked for a refund instead and they told me the person who can authorize a refund only comes in once a month, they would mail me out a paper check instead of crediting back to my card and that they wouldn't even send out the check until the next month. Obviously, go somewhere else.
