Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I dont go out there much. I take my brother. Hyvee is more expensive then a couple of their competitor stores i go to for food. I do go out there for farmacy. But there is one lady that is just absolutely rude. Especially for being in drive through. I waited just like everyone else. I got my stuff and wanted to put a request in for refils for my teen daughter's depression and anxiety meds to come back later. The ladies aditude and clicking her tongue and rolling her eyes let me know my daughter's scripts were not as important for her. She can't hear well and can't see and should be at a register rather than drive through, so it will be quicker. It's not the customers fault it takes so long. It's her issues and poor customer service.

Disappointing donuts. Definitely attempted to put jelly in but there was nothing inside any of the filled donuts. They were also dense, not fluffy. Never had issues before so hopefully this isn't a common issue.

My Thanksgiving Story: Went out to rake leaves before preparing my family's holiday meal when I realized I was out of lawn bags. Drove to HyVee and was met at the curb by a store associate named Derek who asked if I was there for a meal pick up. When I said "No", he said, "Sorry, we're closed, but here's a free apple pie!" As I walked back to my car with my pie and started driving away, Derek flagged me down and asked what I had come for. When I told him, he said to follow him into the store and he'd grab the lawn bags and ring me up. What a lifesaver! Thankful for nice folks like Derek! Happy Thanksgiving!

Its a good grocery store, but you have to check expiration dates. Very common to find stuff that is a month or more past. If not for this recurring issue, I'd probably give it 5 stars.

This place is always friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Every time I eat here it’s delicious but their breakfast takes the cake for me! This store has everything I need and is definitely my Hyvee. I definitely love this store.
