Huie Elementary at Southside Medical Center

The new location at Huie is absolutely excellent! I have known Jay for the past 10 years — from when she was a receptionist to now being my doctor. I am so very proud and happy to see her growth. She is truly the best! The receptionist, Kimberly, is so sweet, and Diamond is amazing — her smile is everything! The entire team is doing an outstanding job, and you can tell they care with their whole hearts. I am so proud of Southside Medical Center. Keep up the excellent work!

I had an excellent experience at Southside Medical at the Huie Elementary location. Dr. Yokaira Arvelo, FNP, is truly amazing. She is professional, compassionate, and takes the time to really listen to her patients. I never felt rushed, and she explained everything clearly in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident about my care. Dr. Arvelo shows genuine concern for her patients’ health and well-being, and that makes a huge difference. The staff was also welcoming and helpful, making the entire visit smooth and stress-free. I am very happy with the service and more importantly having Nurse Practitioner J as my primary care provider. I was nervous because I haven’t been to the doctor in years but NP J made sure my visit was beneficial. She was kind empathetic and very reassuring to me. I reviewed amazing service from Ms. Arvelo and all of the staff. Front desk was super quick and helpful with figuring out my insurance. Every one was super friendly. All of my needs were heard and met. Will definitely be keeping this provider as my PCP and I would recommend her to everyone.
