Hudson Hospital & Clinic

We had to visit the Hudson Hospital emergency room in December, and I want to start by saying the doctor and staff were excellent — caring, professional, and attentive. However, we were very disappointed by the billing. The ER doctor prescribed 14 tablets (2 per day), which we filled at the Hudson Hospital pharmacy for $68 (no insurance for this fill) — about $4.85 per tablet. Before we left the ER, one tablet was administered on-site. We were later billed $373 for that single tablet. For context, publicly available pharmacy pricing data shows that medication typically cost around $2 each. It’s easy to see why people feel hospitals such as Hudson Hospital “gouge” their patients. Went to the ER today to take my daughter in for a fever and nasty cough. The staff was ABOVE AND BEYOND. literally within 2 minutes, our room filled up with a few nurses and a doctor who were so wonderful with her. This is our go to hospital because the staff here is just so welcoming and genuinely kind. Thank you guys for making a scary day for a mom and daughter so much easier.

Stopped in quick to grab a prescription and a “to-go” meal from the Hospital Cafe. Two young girls working. They were both super polite, very helpful and friendly and the place was so clean! Just thought you should know!

I did not have a great experience here. I had c section here for my first baby. After birth they did not do give me the baby for skin to skin :/ i hated the whole experience only good thing experience was with lactation person that we met with after couple weeks of birth who was very helpful so the 1 star is for her. I am not going back to this place for birthing again. They pressured me to give formula to the baby when I was not comfortable. Also using the nursery was very helpful but expensive for just 2 hours. One night was unavailable for use though. Also food is absolute trash for postpartum mothers it was literally boxed mac and cheese. So plan to get something from somewhere else. Awesome staff, bring my inverted bother who fuses to see doctors @72 years old had a stroke, it took us 6 hour to convince him to go to the Hudson emergence room. The doctor was very informative plus convinced my brother to stay over night to prevent another stroke. Dr. Reierson is amazing trying to figure out best plan for my brother. All the nurses are very special, gently dealing with all my brothers phobia’s. A very special Thank You, to the night team nurses Sophia and Ciara never missed a beat dealing with a difficult episode and keeping my brother clam and caring for him as much as they did. After 5 days and letting me stay with my brother every step of the way, really warmed my heart. He would have never mentally survived the big hospital in the cities. Thank you all for all you d
