My wife scheduled an appointment with Dr. Weinstein, but instead was seen by a nurse practitioner without prior notice. Due to our insurance policy, this resulted in an unexpected $50 copay for a non-physician provider. When I tried to explain this to the billing coordinator, Fantasia, she was dismissive and rude, which made the situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, the only treatment offered was an excessive dose of Zyrtec to manage her allergy symptoms. She followed their instructions for weeks, but saw very little improvement. Eventually, she consulted another allergy specialist who was shocked by the dosage and immediately had her stop. They conducted proper testing and identified the actual cause of her symptoms—something Dr. Weinstein’s office never investigated.
