The Howell Foot & Ankle Specialists used to be so good under Dr. Richard Lesser. He retired & it went down hill. But what really did it for me was how they treated my 89yo father. He had an appointment scheduled for 3 whole months. So we go in for the appointment & the receptionist (who was never the most professional or nice person), tells me oh, we don't take his insurance anymore (as nonchalant as could be). Mind you he is 89, barely walks with a cane and they've known for, at least before his appointment, that they did not take his insurance. A nicer, more professional office would have called and let the patient know in advance. I wouldn't recommend them at all, especially for the elderly'

This place has really gone down hill with the new practice that’s taken over. I’ve visited once since the transition for a small procedure and a follow up, and was charged an ridiculous amount I have never been charged before, by Dr.Lesser or anyone else, even minus new patient fees, which we were not warned of (not sure why there would be new patient fees since records & info were passed over). As for the procedure itself, as someone who’s had it done many times, this was the most painful and unorganized ingrown removal I’ve had, and I was left bruised for months. My mother also went in and (by a different doctor) had “ingrowns” removed from multiple toes, when her nails were not even ingrown, and the pain was coming from a different issue entirely. Your doctors can’t see what an ingrown

I've been a patient of Dr. Lesser's for 6+ years now. Everything that has caused me pain, Dr. Lesser has fixed. He is a great doctor with a wonderful bedside manner (and a fun sense of humor!). I wish I had found him many years ago when I started having issues. And the staff is just top notch. Very friendly and helpful. My daughter is now a patient of his too! Wouldn't go to any other doctor but Dr. Lesser! He IS the best!

Hands down amazing doctor! Dr. Lesser has amazing knowledge and a heart warming bedside manner who actually cares about his patients. He’s taken impeccable care of my toddler a few times and recently myself! His staff is always so helpful and friendly which is something you don’t readily find in practice anymore.

Dr. Lesser and his whole office are very impressive. Nice safe location, easy to find, ample parking, clean professional offices, no long waiting time, great medical care, the doctor is obviously very experienced, and all the people from the first phone call to the receptionists, to the nurses, - are all very kind, caring and professional. This place was suggested to me by my primary physician, and I'm very glad and thankful that I ended up in their care.
