Howard Family Dental

I was searching for a dentist near my daughter's school since she is a sophomore at GA Southern University and only had a hometown dentist. I made an appointment for her, and we were able to schedule it for the following week. Although she was nervous about going alone, she said that the staff and the dentist were very welcoming. They explained her needs and the services provided, which helped put her at ease during the visit. She really appreciated the experience and plans to return for her cleaning in six months.

I absolutely loved my dental hygienist. I can’t remember her name and i really wish i did but she was younger, black hair and said she hadn’t been working here for long i think since July, anyways she was literally so nice told me what she was about to do explained everything. Im not nervous about the dentist but i imagine if someone is she would make them feel very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend her. The dentist was friendly. I do wish the rooms had curtains or doors or something for a little privacy cause if someone is in the hallway they can see in the rooms. The front desk people however…. it was time to leave and my hygienist walked me to the front to be checked out and the ladies at the desk side eyes us and my hygienist told me to just sit until they ‘weren’t busy’. Always a great experience! I transferred to Howard several years ago after being with another office for 20 Years. I have never looked back. I love the quality of care they give. I took my toddler for her introductory appointment today and it went very well. Thank you Howard Statesboro!

Professional yet fun staff! Very respectful and a diverse workforce that puts you at ease. Very quick and efficient; my cleaning only took about 30 minutes. Fantastic experience!

Beware! Dishonest insurance practices. Be sure you know and double check everything because they over bill your insurance AND you! They will happily schedule and provide you services knowing full well they are not covered without telling you. You are asked to sign for treatments and payment policies on a generic signature pad without any review of the documents. They have no respect for your time. Expecting you to wait while they make lunch plans at 8am. Unless you are scheduling high $$$ services you wait for months for an appointment. After waiting 10 months for a cleaning they canceled my appointment, next opening was another 7 month wait.
