Hopscotch Health Children's Urgent Care and Primary Care

Pretty disappointed. My go to is the Hopscotch closer to Woodlawn Ave, everyone is always child friendly there, especially the Dr. Unfortunately, that location was closed due to MLK day. Fast forward to my experience, the receptionist was great. However, the assistant who did my son’s vitals was not child friendly at all. The tone and choice of words she used is not how you approach a sick 3 year old.. Very immature and not empathetic. Working with children is not the same as working with adults. My son will not be returning to this location & I will be sure I speak to a head director or someone higher up in regards to the individual’s interaction with my son.

First time I come here and I think it wasn’t bad the ladies in the front were very nice and friendly something you hardly get in other clinics but they were Really welcoming…..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although the only thing I didn’t like much was that there was a really long waiting period in the room & outside ⭐️⭐️⭐️my baby was crying a lot and they were really helpful about it and gave him some medicine I do appreciate that ❤️ but I also heard the ladies saying there system was down so maybe that was the reason for the long waiting but I’ll try it again only because they treated my baby really good and the doctor/ nurse knee what was going on and explained everything. Thank ya I hope next time (hopping there’s no next time my baby gets sick) there will be a lesser wait time.

Rude staff. They close at 8PM, but don't walk in at 7:35PM because they will refuse a CHILD. On a Monday with barely one person in waiting room and their "open" sign shining bright.

Normally a good place for quick, responsive care but my son is sick with a fever and we were bringing him in and their stated hours are until 6pm. We arrived at 5:20pm with no one there and a locked door. No note on door or reason why they closed early.

Provider Gamze Thomas had an excellent bedside manner and calmed my anxious child. My child is looking forward to coming here again next time she is sick. The popsicle at the end was the metaphorical cherry on top.
