Hometown Drugs Pharmacy

I have been using them since they opened when Kim was the owner. It has steadily gone downhill since the new owners took over. Today was the final straw as I was waiting for a new prescription my doctor ordered & when I went in they said their records said I didn't have insurance. Come to find out they had been charging us the cash price & the printout the pharmacist showed me stated that they were supposed to ask us if we had a new insurance card so our info could be updated. When I inquired about why they didn't ask us for the new card when we had our last four prescriptions filled the pharmacist said he didn't need my attitude and stress and it would be best to just transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy.The customer service is horrible

I've been a long time, I thought good, client of HDP until today- My husband inadvertently picked up a rx that I did not need or want and can only think that my Dr sent it to be kept on file if I ever wanted to use it-- to the tune of $166. I took it back and was told it couldn't be returned - I could accept it even though I feel it's wrong. The clerk at the window kindly explained policy, but offered to get the pharmacist. THE PHARMACIST then proceeded to be beyond rude and belligerent in presenting his side and stated he didn't care that he couldn't take it back - He didn't care about my long term client status, he was losing money basically too bad. I really could've dealt with things if he had not been so profoundly rude and unprofessional and presented his side in a respectful manner

Hometown is the best pharmacy. They go above and beyond for their customers. Best service with a personal touch.

Hometown drugs is always very helpful when it comes to my prescriptions they text when the prescription is ready to be picked up and they always check ID if it is a narcotic

1. Called yesterday to have my husband's prescriptions transferred. I was assured it would be done. 2. Called today and was told they had prescriptions for 3 meds (he's on 10 that have refills). 3. Refused to call the pharmacy back to get the rest of the prescriptions and told me to call the doctor which will take 3 days for any refills to be sent and that they aren't accepting new patients. I have been trying to get these meds filled for almost a week (first at Walgreens who didn't care and lied several times) and they are life and death meds for my husband.
