Holy Family Hospital – Haverhill

They really started off good in the beginning, but then the noise in the hall is really bad. Staff gabbing away about care and misc. After 5 hours of being there, the doctor came in and said id be leaving soon, 2 house later I’m still waiting for papers and for iv to be taken out. After 7 hours of waiting, i left and took the iv out myself, which only took 10 seconds. I was very disappointed cuz this used to be my favorite hospital… and i know they don’t have allot of staff so it’s not all their fault…i just will never go here again.

Went to the ER last night from my foot. I was not brought back for an x-ray for almost an hour. The three hours. Nurse had to bring me back there then after my x-ray, I was placed in the hallway for well over an hour. No nurse came to see me nor did the doctor about an hour after I was sitting in the hallway being ignored. The doctor finally came to me and said they wanted to do a CAT scan. Nobody came for 20 minutes to come get me then I sat for another hour and a half in the same hallway being ignored, not tended to not asking if I needed anything for another hour and a half. The bathroom didn’t even have a door on it. It was disgusting, bodily fluids everywhere look like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in well over a month. There are better hospitals out there. Been sitting in the E.R for 3 hours with a head and neck injury and haven’t been seen by a dr yet. The nurse barely took my vitals she gave me a thermometer. After three hours I asked where the dr was and they said there was only one dr on shift and he was busy. I can see why they wanted to shut it down. You would die medical attention here. I know I have a concussion and 4 hours after being assaulted and not seeing a dr I’ve been waiting to see he is going to say my concussion isn’t as severe as it is. Truly disgusted. When I asked to be discharged. The Dr on duty became upset and snarky and offered to sit me I. A computer chair next to him to see me and diagnose me because I was impatient… I do not think waiting 3 hours to be seen in an E.R with an emergency is impatient. He made sure to

Multiple violations of HIPPA privacy laws in the Emergency Department . I saw and heard 2 in hallway mental health evaluations via Zoom . ER nurses discussing patients personal information out loud. Specifically one time they were discussing my family member who is a minors personal information out loud . We had to tell them we could hear everything . If this Hospital can’t provide the staff and the privacy the patients deserve then close it down . Not acceptable the way this place operates .

Education would be great for them on service animals and how their nurses respond to them and the language that they use for example a service animal is not an animal an animal is an animal that doesn't do anything and it's just for fun service animal provides services when I took my service animal and the nurse was very scared of my service animal even though I repeated to her over and over again this is my service
