Holy Cross Urgent Care – Pompano Beach

If you need an urgent care location, highly recommend. Had a severe swelling of the knee and they meet me at the front door with a wheel chair. The wait was only a few mins. And Marlene and Dr. Rafael were truly amazing. They took the injury serious why keeping it light to take your mind off the situation. Strong communication on what was needed, next steps and really gave you a feeling they cared a great deal about your health and approached each step with that passion. If ever needing urgent care, I would return there for sure.

I felt very poorly and wanted to find out if I just had a cold. I didn’t want to see my Primary Care physician for this as I usually schedule my appointments weeks in advance. Using the My Chart app, I was able to schedule a visit at Holy Cross’s new Urgent Care Facility in Pompano Beach within 30 minutes! And…. ALL of my information was in their system already so all I had to do was sign to authorize my appointment! The PA and the Triage Nurse I saw were both compassionate and thorough. I ended up needing RX’s they sent electronically to my pharmacy and I had competed being seen and back home with my diagnosis, notes on my visit and my medications. I highly recommend you visit if you need Urgent Care and especially if you use the My Chart app!

My visit at the Holy Cross Urgent Care in Pompano Beach was excellent. Colleagues were friendly and courteous The clinic was bright, clean and very well maintained. No wait time at all! Physician was very knowledgeable and spent an ample amount of time with me. I would definitely go back if needed.

Patients beware. The PA and the service received was great, however they are not part of the Holy Cross network. I asked them if they accepted Blue Cross when I arrived and they said they did. Blue Cross says this facility/location is out of network. When I inquired about it in September they said they were working on fixing the problem with blue cross as they were newly opened. Now I am getting billed out of network. It would have been cheaper for me to go to the emergency room. Holy Cross billing department cannot be bothered to help resolve the issue. And because I have insurance I am responsible for paying full price, where if I did not have insurance I’d get a 35% discount. I was seen promptly, and the entire process was smooth and well-organized. Dr. Battley was exceptional—he truly took the time to listen, understand my concerns, and explain the best course of treatment in a thoughtful and reassuring way. I never felt rushed, and I left feeling confident and well cared for. Highly recommend this location for anyone needing prompt and professional urgent care.
